Jack-O-Lanterns

Yay! Jack-O-Lantern time is here again! I loooove making Jack-O-Lanterns, (Though I don't really love writing out that entire word, so let's just go with jacks) This year, I went with a wolf, Freedom went with a fire face, And Glory went with a confused face. Here are the pictures from this year. =)
You'll notice that most of the pictures are of Freedom, since Glory rushed off to work on the rabbit hutch (Which you'll here more about later) before I could pull out the camera.

Freedom had super fun carving his pumpkin. You can see here that he got a little... excited.

Here he is helping out mom with her pumpkin boiling endeavors.
 Well... that's a frightening sight...

Here's a picture of his fire face:
And a picture of Glory's confused one:

 Here's mine and freedom's together.

Here we all are! (Glory took a short break in order to get in on the photography)

Mom started on all of the pumpkin delectables to be made. Below you'll see her cinnamon pumpkin juice!
And, of course, the ever famous pumpkin seeds!

Mah Birfday

I had a super duper birthday this year! I had a total of 8 girls, including myself and Glory. The game Don't Let The Balloons Touch The Floor was VERY popular as you can see:

I didn't really have time to finish decorating because one of my guests decided to show up 45 minutes early. (Yeah I'm looking at you bubbles!)
I had a muffin tree with blueberry morning muffins instead of a cake. Muffins beat cake any day!

Apparently I look rather creepy when blowing out my candles...

Here's Blondie, stealing the show =P

Oh, here's some more pictures of my muffin tree.

Glory gave me that huge balloon hat to wear, since I'm the birthday girl and all.

She also made me this epic turtle!

I got lots of great presents.

After that we sat down to play a game of musical nails! kinda like musical chairs/Hot potato? You pass around the bottles of nail polish and then when the music stops you have to paint one nail with that color. In the end, your fingertips kinda look like a rainbow!

Freedom here worked the music for us. Isn't he precious?
Freedom also took it upon himself to welcome all the guests with this note on his remote control car.
Here we all are at church the next day. Lookin' fantabulous!

Daddy Man Saves The Day Once Again!

So, we all remember the dashing duckling incident, yes? Well, daddy man strikes again after spotting a turtle in the middle of the road on the way to Oktoberfest. Screeching to a halt on the side of the road, he quickly unbuttoned his shirt, revealing the Daddy Man insignia he was wearing beneath, before rushing to the scene. He dove into the traffic, with only one thought in his mind. The life of the frail Mrs. Turtle, shivering beneath the roaring fenders of oncoming cars. Snatching her up in his capable hands, he swooped her to the side of the road, and to safety. Gently, he led the poor woman to her lovely home in the river bed. But before he left, she begged him to stay so that she could get this picture of her with her lifelong hero- Daddy Man. Shortly after this picture was taken, Daddy Man shot away into the sunset, until next he was needed. Such is the heroic deeds of Daddy Man.

You can probably find a less dramatic version of this story here: http://burginteamblog.blogspot.com/
